A key to understanding Energetic Medicine is to understand that each cell is designed to run at a specific voltage and a specific frequency. Generally speaking, disease is caused when cells have too little voltage and are running at too low a frequency.

Hydrogen emits over 100 different frequencies.
Oxygen emits over 400 different frequencies.
Water emits over 500 different frequencies.
Now imagine the number of frequencies in a complex molecule like serotonin or in an organ like the liver! Each will emit thousands of different frequencies.

Cells in the adult human are designed to run at -20 to -25 millivolts and to heal at -50 millivolts. The minus sign means that the voltage is an electron donor. If the voltage drops to the point the solution is an electron stealer, we put a plus sign in front of the voltage. Cancer occurs at +30 millivolts.

The body has two wiring systems that carry voltage to each organ. Both are made of firous tissue since fibrous tissue has the last resistance to the movement of electrons in teh body.
[Copper rich collagen, fascia, cartilage carries the current.] One wiring system is called the perineural Nervous System and is actually a sheath around each nerve. The other is the acupuncture system and is actually the fascial planes of the body.
One can tap into either wiring system to measure the voltage in the organs. It is difficult to use a voltmeter to measure the organ voltage because voltage surges about every six seconds
[like ocean waves]. Thus we commonly use an ohmmeter to measure and then convert that voltage. There are several devices designed to accurately and reproducibly measure organ voltage like the Nakatani (MEAD) system, the Voll systems, and the Tennant BioModulator. By placing one of these devices onto a wire known to go to each organ, one can know the voltage in that organ.

...Besides the two wiring systems of the body (the Perineural system and the acupuncture system) there is an additional means of moving electrons from place to place: an ionic transfer within the blood plasma. This was elequenty described by Bjorn Nordenstrom in his classical book Biologically Closed Electric Circuits.

In 1895, Tesla invented the tuned circuit, or resonating circuit. It consists of a coil wired to a capacitor....In acupuncture theory, half of the organs are said to be yin organs and half are yang organs. A yin organ is always connected to a yang organ.
It became apparent to me that the yin organs are capacitors and the yang organs are hollow organs that serve as coils. They are wired together through connecting meridians to form Tesla resonating circuits (page 144). There is a Tesla circuit for each pair of organs on each side of the body. The capacitors (solid organs) are wired to the back, and the coils (hollow organs) are wired to the front of the body (page 156)...The yin organs (capacitors; solid organs) are all wired to the main cable that runs up the back. The yang organs (coils; hollow organs) are all wired to the main cable that runs down the front of the body. (page 144)

Lung-Large Intestine Circuit: the lung is a solid-yin-capacitor organ wired to the large intestine-colon which is a hollow-yang-coil organ.
Heart-Small Intestine Circuit: the heart is a solid-yin-capacitor organ wired to the small intestine which is a hollow-yang-coil organ.
Liver-Gall Bladder Circuit: the liver is a solid-yin-capacitor organ wired to the gall bladder which is a hollow-yang-coil organ. ~ Ibid. Page 144.
Any biologically active substance contains hundreds or thousands of frequencies of variable voltage. We do not have any frequency generators that can reproduce that type of signal. Those that say they are sending such signals are just using a software program that is a random number generator. It randomly assigns numbers to each organ or substance. Such devices never give reproducible results because they aren't really measuring anything.

Rife's inventions include a heterodyning ultraviolet microscope, a microdissector, and a micromanipulator. When you thoroughly understand Rife's achievements, you may well decide that he had one the most gifted, versatile, scientific minds in human history. By 1920, Rife had finished building the world's first virus microscope.

It was in the early 1930's that Royal Rife improved upon and perfected the Universal Prismatic Microscope which had a magnification of 60,000 diameters and a resolution of 31,000 diameters. (Currently still the most powerful in the world!) Dr. Rife was the first person to see LIVING viruses, since even the most powerful electron microscopes today kill the organism being observed. In his quest to build this microscope he developed a method of identifying different organisms and their MOR's or Mortal Oscillatory Rates. This meant that each organism had a signature frequency at which it vibrated or resonated. Rife further developed this technology by building a frequency instrument which was able to reproduce these MOR's and thus kill the organisms.

Rife developed technology which is still commonly used today in the fields of optics, microscopy, electronics, radiochemistry, biochemistry, ballistics, and aviation. It is a fair statement that Rife practically developed bioelectric medicine himself. These break-throughs were well documented in his time by various newspapers including the LA Times and San Diego Tribune and the Smithsonian Institute.

He received 14 major awards and honors, and in 1936 Rife received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from the University of Southern California. During the 66 years that Rife spent designing and building medical instruments, he worked for Zeiss Optics, the U.S. Government, and several private benefactors. Most notable was millionaire Henry Timkin, of Timkin roller bearing fame.

Rife painstakingly identified the individual spectroscopic signature of each microbe, using a slit spectroscope attachment. Then, he slowly rotated block quartz prisms to focus light of a single wavelength upon the microorganism he was examining. This wavelength was selected because it resonated with the spectroscopic signature frequency of the microbe based on the now-established fact that every molecule oscillates at its own distinct frequency.
